External appeals
Students who are not satisfied with the University’s internal appeals processes can lodge an external appeal with the National Student Ombudsman (NSO).
This service is free, confidential, and available to prospective, current, and former students, both domestic and international, in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
While it is not required to exhaust internal appeal rights before contacting the NSO, it is suggested that internal appeal rights are exhausted as the NSO may refer the case back to the University if the processes have not been concluded.
