    Overview

    This course has been developed to provide graduates with the opportunity to continue their professional development as a lifelong learner. Students are provided with advanced theoretical knowledge.

    • use effective and respectful strategies for communication with diverse stakeholders
    • use relevant technologies as part of contemporary physiotherapy practice

    • understand the local, national and global factors that inform the delivery of physiotherapy services within a global health care perspective

    Admission criteria

    What you need in order to get into this course. There are different pathway options depending on your level of work and education experience.

    Applicants require a four-year Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognised institution, plus a minimum of 2 years' relevant clinical experience.

    Applicants must either be registered physiotherapists or eligible for temporary registration in Western Australia. Students will be required to register with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.

    This fee-paying course is a one-year part-time course or equivalent part-time study. Some units within the course are offered externally.

    This course is part-time-only course and is not available for direct entry to international onshore students studying in Australia on a student visa. This course is availabile as an exit/intermediate award for the Master of Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence and Pelvic Health) (MC-PHYTH).
