Curtin Connect’s Equity Advisors are on hand to offer dedicated support to domestic students who sometimes face additional obstacles on their path to successful course completion.

Our advisors will help you tackle the biggest challenges by providing support that has a meaningful impact on your student experience.

Members of any of the inclusive student communities below will be given exclusive access to direct, quick-response communication channels to ensure they receive the help they need as quickly as possible.

Our Equity Advisors understand the importance of instilling a sense of belonging within your academic journey and are available to support you with the many aspects of your student experience.

In addition to connecting you with support services campus-wide, advisors can provide you with access to our unique Grounding Plan, a tailor-made tool designed to assist you in achieving your study goals.

If you’re one of our many students undertaking study from different corners of this vast country, you’d know that while rewarding, distance education presents distinct challenges of its own.

Our team will work with you to ensure you are connected to all of the support available to you, including resources accessible at Curtin’s rural campus in Kalgoorlie, or even through our partnerships with WA’s Regional University Study Hubs.

Students living with a disability

Curtin offers additional support to those studying with a physical or mental health condition, and also to students who are caring for someone with a disability.

At Curtin Connect, we will provide you with a safe and welcoming space to seek support and advice, and will assist you in connecting with relevant amenities such as the AccessAbility Services team, our Student Wellbeing Advisors (including counselling services) and more. Our advisors can also provide you with information on relevant beneficial campus facilities available to you.
