Curtin Co-Design

Assessment 2030 is proud to support our Curtin Co-Design course prioritisation program, which supports course teams to create cohesive, scaffolded learning experiences for students.

The Curtin Co-Design program partners with priority courses to implement Assessment 2030 principles, building GenAI literacy while maintaining rigorous academic integrity.

Working with assessment designers, the program supports educators as subject matter experts, to enhance their units while preserving full autonomy over teaching approach and content. Through collaboration, innovative solutions are co-created that strengthen student engagement and learning outcomes.

The co-design process targets three key enhancement areas:

The Co-Design Process

Our flexible semester-long collaborative process is structured in distinct phases, each designed to build upon previous insights while allowing adaptation to the course team’s specific needs and timeline.

We’ve developed a Learning Outcomes Guide to help staff review and refine their learning outcomes so they align with Curtin’s academic standards and support both teaching excellence and student success. It offers practical advice on alignment, scaffolding, and ensuring outcomes reflect the skills and knowledge students need to demonstrate. This resource is especially useful for staff who don’t have direct access to the Curtin Co-Design process.
