Overview
The Food Science Minor focuses on the chemical composition of foods, the ingredient interactions under different processing conditions to develop new food products. Students may also undertake a work placement with an external organisation to gain hands on experience.
What you'll learn

- can gather and interpret relevant data within food science to inform judgements that include some reflection on relevant social, scientific, or ethical issues related to food science, GC4, GC5
- demonstrate a developing standard of professional behaviour, including effective time management, both independently and as a team member, GC6
