Rural interprofessional simulation education (RISE), designed to immerse teams in realistic, high-stakes clinical scenarios that enhance communication, coordination, and patient-centred care.
Interprofessional education for students
Interprofessional practice is fundamental to working in rural healthcare. Our student workshops explore how interprofessional practice can support improved coordination across hospital settings, reduce healthcare costs, and enhance understanding of other professional roles and responsibilities, ultimately improving patient care and outcomes. All students completing clinical / professional placements via the Goldfields UDRH are expected to attend, with dinner provided. Semester 2 workshop details coming soon.
