How you’ll benefit
You’ll benefit from a range of financial and accommodation supports, interprofessional learning opportunities, on-site academic and wellbeing support, community engagement activities and more, all within our Goldfields-Esperance rural footprint. You’ll have regular check ins with Curtin Kalgoorlie’s student wellbeing advisor, and access to campus library and Student Guild facilities, and other on-campus activities. You’ll also receive free visits to various Goldfields experiences (seasonal), and information on activities and attractions.
Financial support
If you are a domestic student enrolled with an Australian University and registered with the Goldfields UDRH, you may be eligible for a range of financial support to assist with travel, the costs of living, and working away from home.


Health and wellbeing
Our Student Wellbeing Advisor will check in with you regularly during your placement and listen or assist with any concerns you may have. If you’re on a placement, you’ll also receive vouchers to our local recreation centre, offering access to the gym, group fitness classes and pool.
