2023 Asia University Presidents Strategic Dialogue
Global Wisdom – Sustainable Future
27 – 28 September 2023
Singapore
The landscape and environment of global higher education have changed forever. The rapid advancement of technologies, the unprecedented scale of challenges on global public health, unpredictable geopolitical tensions, as well as multi-dimensional effects of climate change, among many other forces have shaped a new environment for universities across the globe in delivering teaching, conducting research, and engaging with various stakeholders. The new environment requires universities to become more entrepreneurial, meaning being creative and innovative, engaging various stakeholders in knowledge and value co-creation processes, and solving global challenges through meaningful and effective partnerships. We can all agree that global challenges require regional and global solutions which can only be created through collaborations.
To seek answers, exchange thoughts, and enhance partnerships that can leverage the expertise from across the region, the 2023 Asia University President Strategic Dialogue aims to bring together a community of Asia university presidents, senior executive strategists and decision-makers for a purposeful dialogue. The aim is to collectively explore the mechanisms by which universities can better work collaboratively, and multilaterally to tackle the immense challenges that are defining our current and future endeavours.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
ADB maximises the development impact of its assistance by facilitating policy dialogues, providing advisory services, and mobilising financial resources through co-financing operations that tap official, commercial, and export credit sources.
