Now in its second year, the Indigenous Futures ‘ReconciliAction’ Challenge offers participating students the opportunity to develop solutions to the question: “The Country said No, so Now What?” in the wake of Australia’s failed Voice to Parliament referendum.

Led by Dean Indigenous Futures, Associate Professor Mandy Downing, this 25-credit point unit brings together academics, students, and community and industry partners to engage in a week of face-to-face, challenge-based learning. The unit focuses on exploring innovative ways to engage with and educate the broader public about the importance of fostering a more inclusive society.

Key Dates:

  • Applications open: Now
  • Online pre-learning begins: 23 June
  • Intensive face-to-face learning: Commences 30 June
  • Final showcase event: 7 July
