How alcohol affects the health of adolescents and young adults – Consumer Representatives
The project
Researchers at Curtin are going to conduct a large-scale multidisciplinary project in partnership with consumers and health services, to identify and evaluate the risk and impact of increased access to alcohol on the physical and mental health of adolescents and young people.
The involvement opportunity
The research team are looking for two young people (aged 14-24 years) to advise them about the concerns and priorities young adults have regarding alcohol and its relationship to their physical and mental health.
Skills and experience
- Aged 14-24 years
- Prior experience with community involvement is preferable but not necessary
Other information
One initial meeting to be held online (likely in October), with further meetings to be determined.
Honorarium of $37.50/hour is offered.
