University Basketball League

The 2026 UBL season will run throughout Semester 2, kicking off in early August and wrapping up in late September. The season features nine home and away games at Curtin Stadium and across Australia, with finals taking place in October!

What is the University Basketball League (UBL)?

The University Basketball League (UBL) is a national competition now in its 5th year, which brings together 12 universities from across Australia to compete for the national title.

Sanctioned by UniSport Australia and in partnership with Basketball Australia, the league provides student-athletes with a national platform to showcase their talent while balancing their academic pursuits.

2026 Season

The UBL season will be held in semester 2 – beginning of August through to end of September. Featuring nine (9) home and away games played at Curtin Stadium and across Australia. Finals will be played in October.
