The Faculty of Health Sciences is offering a range of professional development workshops aimed at enhancing the skills and expertise of health professionals who supervise Curtin students on placement.

Professional development workshop opportunities January – July 2026
Introduction to clinical supervision
Dates (F2F): 21 January 2026, 26 February 2026, 12 March 2026, 4 June 2026
Duration: Full day
Location: Curtin Bentley Campus
Dates (online): 23 February 2026, 10 June 2026
Duration: Three hours
Location: Teams
This interactive workshop is an opportunity to develop your student supervision skills. You will be provided with a framework and model, establishing an effective supervision culture within health and human service organisations.

Managing struggling students

This workshop will explore some of the challenges associated with supervision of students who are struggling to perform to the required standard.

As a student you must satisfactorily complete all fieldwork activities, pass assessment requirements and demonstrate attributes associated with professional conduct.
