Enhance your digital skills and knowledge including fundamentals of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and EndNote.

Participate in our writing productivity sessions where students at all levels can join in for undistracted working time. Join us online or in-person to get stuff done!

Graduate Research Advanced Skills Program (GRASP)
Are you a research student (HDR or Honours)? If yes, join us to learn transferable skills in scholarly thinking and writing.
Workshops cover:
- Planning for and writing your candidacy proposal (Milestone 1)
- Searching for literature, reading and academic writing, methods and research data
- General thesis writing, critical thinking, formatting, editing and generative AI tools

Kalgoorlie academic skills
If you’re based at the Kalgoorlie campus, we have a suite of academic and study skills workshops delivered in-person. Topics include:
- Finding information, reading and notetaking
- Academic writing
- Referencing and EndNote
- Time management and group work

Interested in attending a workshop but can’t make the scheduled time? We can offer some of our workshops on demand, just get in touch with us for more information. We’ll require a minimum of 5 people, so gather some friends together.
If you are teaching staff, we can also provide workshops specifically for your students. Please contact us for more information.

Take time to unwind with our social events, regular in-person Library sessions focused on wellbeing and building community among students.
Sessions include crafts, games, conversations, and more! Running throughout semester and free for everyone, each session features a different way to make lasting connections and fun memories.
