Curtin Library is proud to celebrate our colleagues recognised at the 2025 VC’s Excellence Awards for Professional Staff on Wednesday evening.
Individual Winner – Spirit of Reconciliation
Eytahnyia Scott
Recognised for her exceptional work in advancing Curtin Library’s reconciliation commitments. She has created meaningful relationship-building initiatives and led Curtin’s first conference for Indigenous Higher Degree by Research students, demonstrating remarkable tenacity and impact in supporting Indigenous students and staff.

We also congratulate our Library nominees:
• Excellence in People: Incarcerated student support team, led by Lydia Dawe, with team members Julie Clift, Sally Culver, Sheela Krnjajic and Adele MacDonald.
• Spirit of Reconciliation: Indigenous All-Stars Conference team, led by Eytahnyia Scott, with team members Petra Dumbell and Kaya Dhu (Research Office).
