Book an event space
Interested in hosting an event at TL Robertson Library? We have a number of bookable spaces for a variety of functions and events.
Read below for a quick overview, download our event information pack for more information, and contact our Library Venues Assistant to organise time for a walkthrough and book your event.
Level 3
We have space for pop up activations throughout semester in our Level 3 main thoroughfare. A chance to connect with the wider Curtin population, we provide some space and furniture for you to setup.
Level 4
Training Rooms
There are two workshop spaces that can be used separately, or together with the removal of the dividing wall. These rooms have in-built audio-visual technology, wall mounted digital screens and a selection of furniture available.
Outdoor Terrace
An outdoor space with set furniture, with views of Henderson Court. In the south-western corner of the building, it receives light later into the day. Well suited for casual networking events.

Level 7
There are several spaces on TL Robertson Library Level 7 that can be booked for events.

The Lantern, Prep Space & Balcony
The Lantern is a light-filled space with stunning views of the south end of campus, placing you at eye-height of the Henderson Court pines. This space is ideal for workshops, ceremonies and cocktail events.
The Prep Space includes a food preparation area, two fridges and a freezer, and access to the balcony. Automatically included in all bookings in the Lantern, it can function as a breakout space, storage space, catering room, and more.
Running along the western side of the building, the balcony offers great views of Curtin and beyond. A space useful for getting fresh air, it can also be used for events and well suited to breaks and networking.
The Glasshouse
The Glasshouse is located within the middle of Level 7. Surrounded by glass, it offers views out to the rest of the floor and is an easily customisable space.

The Open Study Space
The main footprint of Level 7, the Open Study Space is capable of hosting events with a large volume of guests. Highly customisable, the space has power throughout, allowing for external AV to be brought in.
