We’re proud to share the 2024 Curtin Library Annual Report, now available to view on the Library website. The report highlights a year of innovation, collaboration, and community connection across Curtin Library.
In 2024, we continued to adapt and grow in response to the evolving needs of our students, staff, and researchers. From enhancing digital access and student support to launching new spaces and cultural initiatives, the report showcases key projects that reflect our commitment to inclusive, future-focused library services.
Highlights include:
- The opening of the Whadjak Malayin Mia | Whadjak Culture Room and the appointment of our first Indigenous Learning Advisor
- Making substantial progress with the adoption of Curtin’s Open Scholarship Policy
- Our participation in the Council of Australasian University Librarian’s (CAUL) read and publish agreements, saving our research community over $3 million in Article Processing Charges
- Expansion of peer academic support programs
- Continued work on digital literacy and research support for staff and HDR students
