What better way to talk about consent and respect than with a little orange?

Join Curtin’s Respect Starts With You (RSWY) campaign and UBL for Orange you Glad you Asked?, an interactive activation designed to make conversations about consent positive, practical and easy to engage with.

How does it work?

It’s simple: ask for orange juice, and you’ll receive some.

The activation uses a real-life scenario to show how consent can be a normal and positive part of everyday interactions. Rather than learning about consent through fear-based messaging, you’ll have the chance to practise asking, respecting someone’s response and seeing how consent can work in a simple, everyday situation.

Why are we doing it?

Consent is something we can all put into practice, and learning through real-life situations can make these ideas easier to understand and remember.

Orange you Glad you Asked? encourages you to engage with consent in a positive way while thinking about how your actions can help create a supportive and respectful community.

We can encourage everyone to take responsibility for their own actions and show what being a good person looks like.

Small actions, like asking before taking, respecting someone’s response and looking out for others, can help build a culture where respect is the norm.
