What is it?
OASIS is your personalised student portal, the central hub for Curtin services and communications.
Think of it like your school diary online, it tells you what’s happening and what you need to do.
Why should I use it?
Manage your enrolment and personal details.
Access eStudent, Blackboard and other key tools.
Read Official Communications from Curtin.
Complete key tasks required throughout your Curtin journey.
How often should I check it?
It is a condition of your enrolment to access OASIS at least once a week to read messages from the Official Communications Channel (OCC).
However, we recommend checking it daily during academic weeks and busy assignment periods.

Blackboard
What is it?
Blackboard is Curtin’s learning management system.
Imagine a big online classroom where all your lessons, homework and teacher notes live.
Why should I use it?
Access lecture notes and recordings.
Submit assignments and check grades.
Join discussion boards and collaborate.
How often should I check it?
Several times a week, especially before classes and due dates.

eStudent
What is it?
Provides an online view of your information in the Curtin student database.
It’s like the form you fill out to choose your subjects and pay for school, but online.
Why should I use it?
Enrol in units, register for classes and manage your timetable.
View and pay tuition fees.
Track your study plan and view your results.
How often should I check it?
At the start of each study period and when making changes or whenever you need to access it.

Student Email
What is it?
Your official Curtin email account.
It’s like your school mailbox, where teachers and the school send you information.
Why should I use it?
Receive email updates from Curtin.
Communicate with lecturers and peers.
Stay informed about deadlines and events.
How often should I check it?
Daily during academic weeks. Especially during busy assessment periods and exams.

Microsoft 365
What is it?
A suite of productivity tools provided free to Curtin students.
Think of it as your digital pencil case, full of tools like Word, Excel and Teams to help you work.

Free access to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more.
Share and collaborate with classmates.
How often should I use it?
Whenever required! These are great tools for working on assignments or group projects.
