It is mandatory for all students sitting face-to-face and online invigilated examinations to present acceptable hardcopy photo identification. Digital forms of identification are not acceptable.
Bentley campus examinations
Students sitting examinations at the Bentley campus must have their Curtin Student ID card:
- The ID card must be placed on your desk during reading time for invigilators to check.
- If you are unable to obtain a Curtin Student ID card, the following physical photo ID is acceptable:
- Driver’s licence
- Passport
- Government‑issued national identification card
Digital forms of identification are not accepted.
If you do not have acceptable photo ID, you will not be permitted entry to the examination venue. You will be directed to Curtin Connect (Building 102, Bentley campus) to obtain a student ID card.
- No additional time will be provided after obtaining an ID card.
- Students will not be admitted to the examination if more than one hour has elapsed since the scheduled start time.
- Curtin Connect will operate extended opening hours during the examination period.
- Provisions are available for students who are unable to pay for their ID card at the time of issue.
Examinations at non‑Bentley locations including online invigilated
For examinations held at locations other than Bentley, a driver’s licence or passport is acceptable photo identification until a Curtin Student ID card can be obtained.
Obtaining your Curtin Student ID card
- Student ID cards can be obtained free of charge initially by ordering online through OASIS:
- Go to the Campus Life & Guild tab
- Select FastTrack ID Card
- A fee applies for lost or replacement cards.
