Looking for a way to earn credit, build your portfolio and tackle real-world problems during the mid-year break? You’re invited to take part in four intensive, credit‑bearing challenge-based learning programs running across June and July 2026.
How it works
Each program runs for one intensive week, with students working in interdisciplinary teams to address a real-world challenge. Students earn 25 credit points for passing a challenge, and some students do two in the break.

Global Futures Challenge

Register your interest
Any student who has already done a year of tertiary study, and who has the space in their study plan (this means an elective unit, or an optional/core unit that your course coordinator can approve a unit substitution for) is invited to register your interest. The units are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all faculties.
