  • Search the catalogue to find the item.
  • Select Request under the Check Availability tab of the item.

Items can be returned at TL Robertson Library at Curtin Perth or at the WA School of Mines Library at Curtin Kalgoorlie.

Checking your loans, fines and messages from the Library

You can use the Library Catalogue to check your borrower information. When you select Borrower Information, you can:

  • see what items you have borrowed and if you have any that need to be returned.
  • check or cancel the items you have requested.
  • check if you have any fines.
  • see any messages for you from the Library.

If a borrowed item has been requested by another client, you will be emailed a date by which it will need to be returned. You are guaranteed a minimum seven-day loan.

Potential fines are displayed in the Current Loans tab. They are transferred to the Fines tab when the item is returned.

Use your Curtin ID and password to log into Borrower Information.

Notifications

Curtin staff, students and other Library borrowers will receive their notices via email.

About your Library card, ID and password

If you are a Curtin student or staff member, your Library card is your Curtin ID card. To access library resources, log in using your Curtin ID and OASIS password. Help with your OASIS log in.

If you are not a Curtin student or staff member, you may request a Library card, ID and password. Please contact the Library for help with your login details.

It is possible to have multiple ID cards, for example, Curtin student and staff IDs. For library use, you are requested to use one ID card at a time, usually the one with higher privileges.

High Demand

Our High Demand collection (Red) is located in TL Robertson Library for you to browse, and includes items selected by your lecturers as required reading for courses. You can borrow a maximum of two items for up to four hours at a time.
