Understanding your offer timeline

Between finishing year 12, applying to university and waiting for your results, we know this time can feel quite overwhelming.
We’re here to help you understand what happens when your ATAR results are released, when offers come out and how to update your preferences if things don’t go to plan.

On this page, we’ll walk you through each step of the TISC offer timeline:

ATAR results release date

ATAR results will be released on Friday 19 December 2025.

Your ATAR results are used to assess whether you’re eligible for your course preferences. After results are released, TISC uses your preferences and scores to decide which offer you’ll receive during the offer rounds.

You’ll receive your WACE certificate and University Admissions Advice Letter (UAAL) by email. Make sure the email attached to your TISC account is up to date.

Didn’t get the results you were expecting?

If you didn’t get the results you were expecting, it’s important to update your course preferences on the TISC website before the main round offers deadline 11.59pm AWST, Saturday 20 December 2025.

If you’re unsure on what to do, contact our Future Student Advisors for guidance and support.

How to use TISC automatic safety net

The TISC safety net helps you save your main round offer if you wish to change your preferences and be re-assessed for a different preference in the second round.

In the second round, you’ll either receive a new offer for a higher preference or your saved main round offer again. A new offer will cancel your previous one – you can’t hold two offers at once.

For instructions on how to use the TISC safety net, see main round of offers section on the TISC website.

Early offers

Early offers for 2026 are now closed.

  • You’ll receive a TISC confirmation letter during the main offer round if:
  • You’ve accepted your early offer by the lapse date.
  • You’ve met all offer conditions by the main round deadline (Saturday 20 December 2025).

If conditions aren’t met or you’ve changed your first preference, your early offer will be void.

You can still be reassessed in the second round if you meet entry requirements or change your preferences in time.
