Ready to meet the finalists taking the stage at Curtin’s talent competition, Talent for Tomorrow?
This year’s line-up brings together one of the competition’s most varied groups of performers yet. From powerful vocalists and original music to live bands, dance, piano and magic, Curtin students are ready to showcase their talents and compete for a share of the cash prizes.

Poppy
From Margaret River to the Talent For Tomorrow stage, Nursing student Poppy is ready to share her voice with campus. Away from her studies, singing is her chance to step into the spotlight.
Will Poppy’s vocals be the perfect remedy for the judges?
Swarup Aryal
Electrical and Electronics Engineering student Swarup is stepping up to the keys for his first performance in front of an audience. He entered Talent For Tomorrow to leave his comfort zone behind and discover what happens when courage meets a piano.
Will his first performance strike exactly the right chord?
But when it’s her moment in the spotlight, will she strike the right chord and take the top spot?
Jessica Ward
Psychology student Jessica has been dancing since she was seven and now performs with Curtin’s cheer and dance team. She is bringing years of movement, rhythm and campus spirit to Talent For Tomorrow in a routine built to get the crowd behind her.
Will Jessica’s moves give the judges something to cheer about?
Sadia Jannat Joya
Master of Project Management student Sadia is stepping outside her comfort zone and onto the Talent For Tomorrow stage. Usually on the shy side, she entered to meet new people, embrace her singing and show what can happen when you give your talent room to grow.
Will Sadia’s courage help her hit all the right notes?
Sara Cleary
UniReady student Sara loves singing, music and the feeling of sharing both with others. Talent For Tomorrow gives her the chance to turn that passion into a live moment for the whole campus to enjoy.
Will Sara’s solo be the performance everyone is talking about?
ANTIX
Communications and Engineering students Lola Seppiyo and Hanrui Yu (Henry) first met at a salsa club, then found a creative rhythm of their own. As ANTIX, they combine Henry’s classical music influences with Lola’s songwriting to bring an original sound to Talent For Tomorrow.
Will ANTIX’s musical chemistry create a winning formula?
Tama Jenkins
Electrical Engineering and Finance student Tama entered Talent For Tomorrow after his friends told him his magic was too good to keep to himself. Now he is taking their advice and bringing his tricks from the friend circle to the big stage.
Will Tama have the judges under his spell?
Curtin Singers
Open to students from across Curtin, Curtin Singers are a Guild club proving that some things sound even better together. With members studying Speech Pathology, Graphic Design, Architecture and more, the group is bringing a cappella harmonies to Talent For Tomorrow, even without a tenor section.
Will their voices come together in perfect harmony with the judges?
Carol
Occupational Therapy student Carol is a singer, pianist and former ballet dancer with more than one creative skill to share. She can also learn songs in Indonesian, English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean, giving her a world of musical possibilities on stage.
Will Carol’s voice be the one language every judge understands?
Dominic Miles
Dominic grew up in Fish Hoek, Cape Town, where he began learning his craft at the College of Magic. Now studying Secondary Education, he is bringing those skills from South Africa to the Talent For Tomorrow stage.
Will Dominic teach the judges a thing or two about magic?
Curtin Musicians
Henry, Anthony, Ezzie, Kao, Azit and Riley are joining forces as Curtin Musicians. The band entered Talent For Tomorrow to challenge themselves and raise the bar for live music at Curtin, starting with a cover that shows what student musicians can do together.
Will they raise the roof as well as the bar?
Septune
Made up entirely of women studying STEM, Septune are bringing brains, energy and pop-band chemistry to the Talent For Tomorrow stage. Hejia, Anjali, Claire, Brooke, Vivi and Kamilah are swapping equations for amplifiers and showing that STEM students know how to build a performance.
Will Septune engineer the perfect performance?
Smriti
Smriti has developed her skills through a Latin dance group, training in reggaeton, samba and Afro styles. The Applied Science and Interior Architecture student has also participated in India’s Got Talent and is now bringing that experience and passion to the Talent For Tomorrow stage.
Will Smriti’s moves create another talent-show moment to remember?
Ayu Putri Larasati
Environmental Engineering student Ayu signed up for Talent for Tomorrow after spotting the poster with her mum and deciding to give it a go for fun. That spontaneous decision has now brought her to the stage, where she is ready to share her voice with the Curtin community.
Will Ayu’s spur-of-the-moment audition lead to a show-stopping performance?
