Curtin has released a new Student Charter, developed in partnership with the Curtin Student Guild to clearly outline the values, rights and responsibilities that help shape the student experience.
Grounded in Curtin’s core values, respect, integrity, impact, excellence and courage, the Charter provides a shared understanding of what it means to be part of the Curtin community.
What is the Student Charter?
The Student Charter outlines:
- Curtin’s commitment to protecting the rights of its students; and
- Your responsibilities to contribute to a respectful, inclusive and positive university experience for all.
It’s a guide for how we learn, interact and grow together, both online and on campus.
How does this affect me?
From semester two 2025, all students will be required to read and acknowledge the Student Charter the first time they log in to OASIS. If you don’t complete this step, you won’t be able to access OASIS until you do.
It’s a quick process, but an important one to help ensure a positive experience for all members of the Curtin community.
