Practical workshops to help beat procrastination

Struggling to get started or stay on track with your studies? Working Through Procrastination is a free, four‑week group program run by Curtin’s Psychological and Counselling team, designed to help you build practical skills to manage procrastination and reduce academic stress.

Across four weekly 90‑minute sessions, you’ll learn how to better understand procrastination, develop effective strategies to get started, manage unhelpful thoughts and strong emotions, and explore mindfulness and self‑compassion techniques, all in a supportive group environment.

Program dates (Weeks 10–13)

  • Session 1: Tuesday 21 April, 10:30am to 12:00pm
  • Session 2: Tuesday 28 April, 10:30am to 12:00pm
  • Session 3: Tuesday 5 May, 10:30am to 12:00pm
  • Session 4: Tuesday 12 May, 10:30am to 12:00pm

All sessions are located in Building 109, Level 2. Please check in with reception at the beginning of the first session.

Limited spaces, book early!

Places are limited to 15 students, so booking is essential. Registrations close 10 April 2026, with attendance confirmed via email after registrations close.
