The newly launched Jump Start Nursing scholarship will assist first-year nursing students with expenses associated with clinical placements.
In the form of a one-off cash payment of $500, Jump Start Nursing can support students with educational related expenses, whether it’s uniforms, mask fitting or CPR training.
Students must meet all the following criteria to be eligible:
- Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian permanent humanitarian or New Zealand citizen
- Be enrolled full-time (minimum 75 credits) in the first year of the Bachelor of Science (Nursing) for Semester 2, 2023
- Be experiencing financial hardship
