Fake visa services and scholarship offers are popping up more often, targeting students with promises of fast approvals or generous funding. These scams can steal your money or personal information.

Scammers love urgency like “Apply now or miss out!”
- Don’t rush. Take your time, ask questions and speak with someone at Curtin Connect if you’re unsure.
No legit scholarship charges to apply
- And no real visa service will ever ask for crypto or gift cards. Upfront payments? That’s a red flag.

- Real scholarships and visa services use sites ending with .gov.au or curtin.edu.au. If it feels off, ask Curtin first.
