Like most of you, I was deeply concerned by the anti-immigration rallies that took place across the country on the weekend.
We are incredibly proud of the rich diversity of cultures, ethnicities, faiths and nationalities at Curtin and support the Government’s stance that everyone, no matter their heritage or background, has the right to feel safe, welcome and valued.
I recognise that this may be a challenging time for some members of our community. Below is a list of support services available if you require assistance or just someone to talk to.
Curtin services
- Student Wellbeing Advisory Service
- Curtin Psychological and Counselling Service
- Interfaith support
- Curtin Student Guild
If you need immediate assistance or wish to report an incident, please contact the Safer Community team at 9266 4444 or via the SafeZone app.
