R U OK? Day is a reminder that a simple conversation can make a difference.
Held each year, R U OK? Day encourages us to check in with the people around us, ask how they’re really going, listen without judgement and help connect them with support when they need it.
You don’t need to have all the answers or be able to solve someone’s problems. Sometimes, simply asking “Are you OK?” and taking the time to listen can be a meaningful first step.
Take a break and check in at The Living Room
This R U OK? Day, head to The Living Room for an afternoon of connection, wellbeing activities and a chance to check in with yourself and others.

Whether you’re feeling stressed, isolated, unsure where to go for support or simply looking for a welcoming space to take a break, you’re invited to join us.

Looking out for each other
R U OK? Day is just one day, but checking in with the people around you can happen anytime.
If someone tells you they’re not OK, you don’t need to have the perfect response. Listen, let them know they’re not alone and encourage them to connect with support if they need it.
You can also check in with yourself. If things have been feeling difficult lately, reaching out early can make it easier to find the right support.
