Looking to gain international experience while earning credit toward your degree? The Faculty of Business and Law offers a range of global opportunities designed to help you expand your learning beyond the classroom.

Available opportunities

Short Course Exchanges

Study at one of Curtin’s international partner universities during your summer or mid-year break.

Programs include:

  • 2028 Aalto University Short Winter Program – Finland
  • 2027 Hanken & LUSEM Nordic Winter School on Sustainability

Study Tours

Join faculty-led programs that combine academic learning with industry visits and cultural experiences. New Colombo funding is available for selected tours.

Programs include:

  • Nepal Business and Social Impact Program (21 November – 19 December 2026)
  • Indonesia Accounting and Finance (16 November – 18 December 2026)
  • India – Law and Society (23 November – 20 December 2026)
  • Italy – (Available for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students) Florence and Milan Innovation and Sustainability in Global Fashion (15 November – 21 November 2026)

Global Internships

Build international industry experience while earning academic credit. New Colombo funding is available for selected opportunities.

Programs include:

  • AirAsia Malaysia
  • ACICIS Business Professional Practicums
  • International Internships

Semester Exchange

Spend a semester studying overseas while earning credit toward your Curtin degree. 3 x $15,000 New Colombo funding available for the following campus:

  • Curtin Miri, Malaysia

Eligibility

To be eligible for the above global opportunities, students must:

  • Be on ‘Good Standing’ in your course
  • Have completed a minimum of 300 credit points of study prior to departure (undergraduate students only)
  • Have a course weighted average of approximately 60+
  • Have adequate space on your study plan to receive credit (advised upon application)
  • Some programs have specific prerequisites
