Neon street. Thumping beats. Freebies… on repeat.

If there’s one night you shouldn’t stay home scrolling, it’s Street Party 2026. This is Curtin’s biggest welcome-back celebration and the ultimate way to kick off the year, whether you’re brand new to uni, back for another semester, or just here for the vibes.

As the sun goes down, the Exchange Precinct transforms into a glowing street party filled with music, colour and chaos (the fun kind). Think loud beats, bright lights and that feeling where everyone’s just happy to be there.

What’s going down on the night

Live on stage
Feel Estate, TILT Band and DJ Henry Swagger bringing the energy from start to finish.

Glowing madness
UV face painting, a silent disco and neon vibes everywhere you look.

Freebies all night
Fairy floss, icy poles and glow bracelets, because no street party is complete without sugar and glow sticks.

Hands-on fun
Make friendship bracelets, jump into the photobooth and leave with something to remember the night by.

Bites under $10
Affordable food from Milky Lane, Pretzel, T4 and more, so you can refuel between dance breaks.

Everyone’s invited

Wrong uni? No uni? First year? Final year? Doesn’t matter.
Street Party 2026 is free for everyone and completely alcohol free, making it the easiest, most stress-free way to meet people and ease into the year.

No tickets are required. Just show up.

But if you RSVP, you’ll go in the draw to win one of five $100 JB Hi-Fi gift cards, with winners announced on the night. Easy win.
