Have you been thinking about signing up for a membership at the Curtin Fitness Centre? The university gym is a great option for anyone looking to start, or continue, their fitness journey in a convenient location.

Whether you live on campus, or just spend a lot of time here, the fitness centre is in a prime location at Curtin.

But if you still need a little bit of convincing then here are some of the benefits to signing up for a Curtin Fitness Centre membership:

Convenience

Located in the Curtin Stadium, the fitness centre is close by to student accommodation, the Curtin Exchange precinct, a bus port, and there’s lots of parking around.

And only a short walk from the TL Robertson Library, you can head to the gym after your study sessions.

Better academic performance

Did you know that exercise can help you unlock your potential? Research shows that getting active not only improves brain function but also enhances your ability to learn and remember information.

Getting active will also help improve your quality of sleep. A more restorative night’s sleep will help you feel refreshed and ready to take on your studies.

Affordability & extras

The Fitness Centre is an affordable option, with membership to the gym starting at as little as $12.50 a week.

And for a $15 a week, you can get a full access membership which gives you access to over 40 Group Fitness classes a week, suitable for any fitness level.

You can see latest group fitness timetable on the Sport and Recreation website.

Both gym only and full access memberships also come with complimentary 1-on-1 appraisals every three months. This includes a body scan and personalised program tailored to your fitness journey with a personal trainer.
