Guided Exhibition Tours

Join us on a one hour guided tour of our current exhibitions including the Perth Festival exhibition, A call and response across the ocean, including Thania Petersen: Jawap and Dhomala, and Carrolup artworks in Kattidj Nagãr [Peaceful Quiet Reflection].

Beads of Friendship Workshop

Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 February
Free drop-in session, 12pm – 2pm

Inspired by our current Perth Festival exhibition, A call and response across the ocean, this activity invites you to transform old maps into handmade paper beads, tiny vessels of journeys and connection. As you roll each bead, share stories, make new friends, and celebrate the bonds that bring people together across places and oceans.

Campus Public Art Tours

Join John Curtin Gallery’s Collection Coordinator and artist, Mikaela Miller, for a guided tour of artworks around the Curtin University Bentley Campus.

These tours are a great way for students to become familiar with the campus, while exploring the public artworks from the Curtin University Art Collection. Learn about locally and internationally acclaimed artists, campus landmarks, Curtin’s history, and how students can use the Collection as a resource during their time at Curtin University.

Chronically Crafty Workshop

PhD candidate Jordan Alice Fyfe leads this inclusive workshop designed for students with neurodiversity or disability. Create art in a welcoming environment with provided materials or bring your own.
