Nan Goldin: The ballad of sexual dependency Curator Tour

John Curtin Gallery 4 Jul 2025 12:30pm-1:30pm

Recently acquired by the National Gallery of Australia from the artist’s personal collection, Nan Goldin: The ballad of sexual dependency is one of the defining artworks of the twentieth century.

The exhibition is curated by Anne O’Hehir and we are excited to have Anne join us in Perth for the Exhibition Opening event and a Curator Tour.

Anne O’Hehir is Curator of Photography, at the National Gallery of Australia, Kamberri/Canberra. She has curated many exhibitions over a twenty-year period, including Nan Goldin (2022); The Body Electric (2020-21); Diane Arbus: American Portraits (2016); Carol Jerrems: photographic artist (2012). Her curatorial practice is grounded in feminism, with a strong – though not exclusive – focus on the histories, lineages, and legacies of women’s photographic practice.

Registration for the Curator Tour is essential.
