Nearly three decades after it was built, Building 408 (B408) works will begin to redevelop B408 into a modern, purpose-built facility that brings together Curtin Business School in one dedicated home, alongside new simulation and practical skills laboratories for Health Sciences students.
From 16 November 2026 access around B408 will change to create a safe work zone. The project is targeting completion end Semester 1, 2029.
Site hoarding will go up over a 2-week period starting 16 November, which affects:
• CARPARK: Half of PF1 closes until end Semester 1 2029
• BUS: Stop 11254 will temporarily close for two weeks in November.
• PEDESTRIANS:
- The Spine closes for two years.
- Pathway behind Building 400 will temporarily close for four months.
- Pathway to carpark PF1 will temporarily close for two weeks in January 2027.
The map below outlines the dates, duration and areas that these impacts will occur. Any temporary closure will be advised via Staff News & OASIS News.

Please follow the signs and be aware when crossing the roads – check for increased pedestrians and vehicle activities around Koorliny Way.
