Lifeblood is calling for more O and A blood donors as blood supplies are impacted by the winter flu season.
The Curtin community has already made an incredible difference through Curtin’s Lifeblood Teams, with staff and students helping save up to 2,106 lives this year alone. Now, Lifeblood is asking eligible students and staff to help meet the urgent need for blood donations.
Are you eligible to donate?
If you have O+, O-, A+ or A- blood, consider making a donation in the coming weeks.
Around 80% of Australians have O or A blood, so if you don’t know your blood type, donating is also a quick and easy way to find out.
Every donation can help provide essential blood supply to people who need them, including those receiving treatment in hospitals.
