Parking on campus? Take a moment to protect your belongings before you walk away. Leaving valuables in your car, even for a short time, can make it an easy target for theft.
Keep your car secure
Before leaving your car unattended, make sure you:
- Close all windows, including the sunroof
- Lock all doors and the boot
- Double-check your car is locked before walking away
Keep valuables out of sight
Never leave items visible inside your car, including:
- Phones, laptops and tablets
- Money and wallets
- Sunglasses and coats
- Sports gear or gaming consoles
- Dash cams or accessories
If you need to leave anything behind, store it securely out of sight in the boot or glove box before you leave home.
Report anything suspicious
Contact Safer Community on 9266 4444 if you observe anyone acting suspiciously on campus. You can also report crime to WA Police on 131 444 and suspicious activity to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
