If your desk drawer is hiding dead cables, outdated devices or mystery chargers from 2016, now’s the time to clear them out.
Curtin is hosting an E-Waste & Battery Recycling Day to make it easy for students and staff to recycle unwanted electronics safely and responsibly. Instead of sending broken or unused tech to landfill, this initiative ensures items are recycled in a way that’s better for the planet.
You can bring along a wide range of everyday electronics and accessories, including computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, cameras, cables, batteries, light globes and small household or workshop electrical items. Small kitchen appliances (yes, even that old microwave) are also welcome.
Please note that some items can’t be accepted, including large household appliances like fridges, hazardous items such as smoke detectors, and car batteries.
