Recycle your e‑waste (and keep it out of landfill)!
Got old tech lying around? Bring your eligible e‑waste to campus and give it a proper, sustainable send‑off. This drop‑off supports responsible recycling and reduces what ends up in landfill.
You can bring items like old TVs, computers, cables, small appliances, batteries and light globes. Please note that large appliances (like fridges), hazardous items and car batteries can’t be accepted.
Where: Car Park PH2 (in front of the Plant Nursery)
When: Friday 15 May
Time: 7.00am to 2.30pm
Accepted items:
- TVs, DVD/VCR players, CD players
- Computers, keyboards, accessories, cables and printers
- Computer disks, video and audio discs (please remove paper inserts)
- Cameras
- Small kitchen appliances (including microwaves)
- Small household electrical goods
- Household batteries
- Small workshop tools
- Light globes
- Battery-embedded devices (e.g. smart watches, gaming controllers)
Not accepted:
- Large electrical kitchen/household appliances (e.g. fridges)
- Smoke detectors and other hazardous items
- Car batteries (lead acid batteries)
Check your items, then drop them off and recycle responsibly.
