In September, Curtin’s athletes showcased their strength, skill, and spirit at the 2025 UniSport Nationals, held on the Gold Coast.
Competing alongside thousands of students from universities across Australia, our teams represented Curtin with passion and pride across sports including futsal, hockey, netball, taekwondo, and volleyball.
A highlight came from Paige Cover, who represented Curtin as our sole taekwondo competitor. Coached by Anita Tippett, Paige delivered an outstanding performance to take home Gold in her event, showcasing precision, composure, and competitive excellence. Her dedication and focus embody the determination and spirit that define Curtin’s athletes. Well done, Paige!
Among the standout team performances:
- Men’s Hockey secured a Silver medal in Division 1
- Men’s Futsal claimed Division 2 Gold
- Men’s Volleyball achieved a strong 4th place finish in Division 2
Each performance contributed to Curtin’s ongoing reputation as a university that celebrates talent, teamwork, and determination in equal measure. Their efforts reflect the growing energy and excellence within Curtin’s sporting community, as our teams continue to make their mark nationally.
