What is the Schwarzman Scholarship?
The Schwarzman Scholarship is a one-year, fully-funded Master’s program in Global Affairs, designed to prepare the next generation of leaders to navigate the complexities of a rapidly changing world. Successful applicants will gain deep insights into China’s role in global trends while building lifelong connections with peers from around the world.
Who should apply?
Candidates must:
- Have an undergraduate degree or be on track to complete all degree requirements by 1 August 2026
- Be between 18 and 28 years old as of 1 August 2026
- Be proficient in English (all courses are taught in English)
- Demonstrate academic excellence
- Be passionate about leadership, global affairs, and cross-cultural understanding
What’s included?
The scholarship covers:
- Full tuition fees
- Room and board
- Travel to and from Beijing at the beginning and end of the academic year
- In-country study tour
- Books and supplies
- Health insurance
- A $4,000 stipend for personal expenses
