Mapping our Inner Ocean: A Yin Yoga & Sound Bath Journey

John Curtin Gallery 22 Apr 2026 5:00pm-6:30pm
Enjoy a unique experience inspired by A call and response across the ocean, Thania Petersen’s exhibition for Perth Festival 2026, at John Curtin Gallery.

These sessions feature gentle yin yoga paired with a calming sound bath, guiding you to reflect deeply on your personal journey through the past, present, and future. Hosted by JCG’s Education Coordinator, Mel Macaulay, and Sound Journey Factilitator, Anita Emor (Emora Suara), the experience encourages participants to pause, contemplate, and reconnect with themselves and their collective histories.

Anita Emor has Makassan heritage and sings in language from North Sulawesi as part of the sound bath experience.
