Establishing a scholarship

Our University Advancement team will guide you through designing a scholarship that reflects your motivations and goals, or those of your organisation.  We consider the number of students who may be eligible and the availability of similar scholarships to ensure your support has the greatest possible impact.

Things to consider

Think about the type of student and/or course that you would like to have a positive impact on.

Know your “Why”:

What are you hoping to achieve with this scholarship?

For example: With a commitment to growing our future engineering pipeline, we’d like to support students to gain industry experience and potentially join our graduate program.

Know your “Who”:

Who are you hoping to support?

For example: We would like to support female and/or Indigenous engineering students to help diversify the industry and potentially join our graduate program.

Structuring your scholarship

Together, we will shape the scholarship structure, including the number of students, the scholarship value and the experiential benefits of your scholarship.  As a guide, scholarship support typically starts from $10,000 per year for the duration of the course.

Cost to establish a scholarship

Curtin does not charge any fees for the set-up or administration of scholarships. We value our partnerships and are committed to strengthening connections between partners and students to help develop industry-ready graduates.
