Pro Vice-Chancellor’s office
Students, scholars and researchers in the Faculty of Humanities are progressive thinkers, imaginative creators, and ethical leaders. Humanities at Curtin focuses on the future: searching into the emergent complexity of being human as we address global challenges and engage new technologies. This focus is evident in our community and industry engaged learning and research programs.
We are ranked first in Western Australia for Communication and Media Studies and Architecture and Built Environment, and in the top 150 globally for Education (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026).
We teach in Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Mauritius and Vietnam, and offer student mobility opportunities abroad. Our students will form part of a well-recognised and international alumnus spread across the globe in more than 100 different countries.
Through teaching, research and community engagement, Humanities at Curtin are committed to making tomorrow better.
