Futures Intensives are 25 credit, challenge-based units delivered as face-to-face intensives during the mid-year break. Students work in interdisciplinary teams on real-world challenges with community and industry partners, supported by academic mentors.

Which Futures Intensive units are available?
There are four Futures Intensive units, each aligned to a Futures platform and Dean:
- Global Futures Challenge
- Sustainability Challenge
- ReconciliAction Challenge
- Learning Futures Challenge
Each runs as a separate intensive, with its own theme and partners.
As part of a multi-disciplinary student team, you’ll research, develop, and pitch innovative solutions with the support of industry mentors and Curtin’s top educators.
