Optus Chair and Centre Director

Prof Gedeon specialises in human-centred computing technologies which use advanced AI and sensors to predict human internal states such as stress, doubt, engagement, depression and so on, with a goal of enhancing human capabilities, in applications such as training people with real time feedback, creating responsive user interfaces, and measuring team dynamics in real time.

Optus 5G Lab Manager

Susannah manages the Optus 5G Lab at Curtin. She specialises in AI, visualisation (VR and simulation); human-centred computing, human factors, decision support systems, data analysis, Internet of Things. Susannah invites research and industry collaboration on AI and 5G related projects.
