Improve your public speaking skills and become a better leader through Toastmasters

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organisation founded in 1924 that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills.

Curtin hosts three Toastmasters Clubs in Perth, including one at Curtin’s Kent Street Campus and two at the Curtin Graduate School of Business in the Perth CBD. All clubs welcome guests to attend meetings and membership is open to students, staff and community members.

  1. Curtin Toastmasters
    Venue: Building 407:205, Curtin University, Kent Street, Bentley
    Date of meetings: Fortnightly on a Tuesday
    Time: 5.30 pm – 7 pm

  2. Curtin Graduate School of Business Toastmasters
    Venue: Room 212, Curtin Graduate School of Business, 78 Murray Street Perth
    Date of meetings: Fortnightly on a Tuesday
    Time: 7 am – 8.15 am (we also go for a coffee immediately after the meeting if you’re able to join)

  3. Curtin Graduate School of Business Sundowner Toastmasters
    Venue: Curtin Graduate School of Business, 78 Murray Street Perth
    Date of meetings: Fortnightly on Friday
    Time: 6 pm – 7.30 pm (meeting is followed by pizza and drinks at Pier Street, Perth)
