October is Bike Month, and there are plenty of ways to get involved at Curtin.
Whether you already cycle to campus or are thinking about giving active travel a go, join us throughout October for free activities focused on cycling, bike maintenance and sustainable travel.
From free bike check-ups to National Ride2Work Day, there’s something for everyone. Check out the activities below and get involved this October.
Bike Month activities (October 2026)
Share your thoughts on how you travel to and from Curtin by completing the Transport Survey.
Complete the survey at the Pop-Up Picnic to receive a free cookie, and go into the draw to win one of four $50 Curtin Exchange vouchers.

Want to know how to look after your bike? Join WestCycle for a free 1.5-hour session covering the basics of bicycle maintenance.

Ride your bike or eRideable to campus to celebrate National Ride2Work Day.
Share your ride by using the hashtag #Ride2WorkDay and #ExploreCurtin. Whether you’re a regular rider or want to try cycling to campus for the first time, it’s a chance to make your commute more active and sustainable.
Need to give your bike some attention? Mobike Services will be back on campus to provide free bike check-ups.
You can also get your eRideable charger tested and tagged by Perth Testing & Tagging.
