Curtin is extending our recently announced free parking initiative to further support our students, staff and the wider community at a time of higher fuel costs.
The University will now provide free parking during exam periods, doubling previously proposed free parking from two weeks to four weeks for campus parking users.
Free parking* applies for:
• Semester 1, 2026: Monday, 1 June to Friday, 12 June
• Semester 2, 2026: Monday, 2 November to Friday, 13 November
*Please note this replaces the previously announced free parking during study weeks (25 – 29 May and 26 – 30 October).
While parking will be free in green, yellow, white, blue and Equipark parking zones during exam weeks, please be careful to park in appropriate bays as infringements will still apply. You must not park in reserved, courtesy, short-term, IGA Tucker Fresh 30 or 90-minute bays, or ACROD bays unless permitted.
There is no need to activate the Cellopark app during these times. Don’t worry if you do – you will simply receive a reminder that you are not required to pay.
For parking maps/zones, FAQs and updates, visit the Bentley Campus Parking page.
As always, alternative ways of getting to campus are available and encouraged, including using the free curtinlink service, public transport, cycling or drop-off options.
Thank you for your cooperation as we continue our work to shape a vibrant, welcoming and sustainable campus.
