Curtin postgraduate and HDR students are invited to take part in Pitch Stop, a new national research competition from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR). The NHVR is seeking research to help improve the lives of drivers and communities, and the safety, sustainability and productivity of the sector.

Why enter?

How it works:

Entry is simple. Submit a 2–3 minute .mp4 video and a 300-word written pitch outlining your research.

Research can span topics such as freight, roads, safety, human factors, health and wellbeing, productivity, sustainability, communication, infrastructure, new technologies, legal and engineering issues, or any area contributing to knowledge in the heavy vehicle sector.

Prizes:

  • 1st Prize: $1000
  • 2nd Prize: $500
  • 3rd Prize: $250
